With our rock saw we cut slabs from various rocks and minerals from around the Copper Country and Keweenaw Peninsula. Some slabs we treat with an epoxy coating as to show the beauty in each piece. We also epoxy the pieces that we make into drink coasters and stove trivets. These are great sellers and are also great samples of the different rocks and mineral specimens that can be found in the Keweenaw Peninsula and the Copper Country.

The Drink Coasters and Bookends are made with "hot" rock.  A main hot rock collected is Basalt with Copper. Very attractive when cut and treated with epoxy. These are great sellers! They make a great one-of-a-kind gift.
